Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Rush. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty (20) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of six (6) opinion pieces. Those awards and opinion pieces are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

In a recent (03/03/14) rant on his daily Comedy Show, Rush decided to feed a little red meat to the assorted morons and low intellect individuals that actually tune in to listen to his outrageous rants.

Rush decided to feign outrage at the airing of the Academy Awards by laughingly claiming that the entire night had been “entirely” political.”

Rush went on to say that the reason the film “12 years a Slave” won the best picture was because “it had the magic word in the title: slave.”

Rush’s final rant was as follows:

• “There’s no way that movie was not going to win!”
• “It didn’t matter if it was good or bad—I haven’t seen it—it was going to win.”

Rush’s real angst is the fact that his favorite movie of all time, “The birth of a Nation” and its director D.W. Griffith didn’t win the Oscar for best picture and best director, respectively in 1915.

Of course if Hollywood and director Martin Scorsese ever decide to do a movie on the life of Fatty Arbuckle, Marty should consider Rush for the lead role.

Congrats Rush; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
