Attorney William Holt of Cranston, RI; ethical gremlin

The state of Rhode Island presented William F. Holt with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Suffolk University Law School.

The Rhode Island Ethics Commission charged Billy with of the following misconduct.

1. Misled Family Court judges by submitting orders that had not been agreed to by the parties
2. Removed a divorce filing from the clerk’s office
3. Caused delay in case to afford client opportunity to remove items from marital home
4. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
5. Found guilty of perpetrating a fraud on the court by Judge John McCann III
6. Submitted sham court order allowing client to relocate to Florida

All that’s left now is to see what if any punishment the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Rhode Island Supreme Court mete out to Billy.
