Attorney Theresa Martin of Boise; ethical misfit

The state of Idaho presented Theresa A. Martin with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from the University of Maine Law School.

The Idaho Bar Counsel found Theresa guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to cooperate with Bar Counsel investigators (Up Yours, said Theresa!)
  2. Failed to keep clients advised of status of legal matters
  3. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  4. Failed to abide by client’s objectives as to representation
  5. Failed to communicate with clients
  6. Failed to respond to repeated letters from client
  7. Failed to file appeal on client’s behalf

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court punished Theresa by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Idaho Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Theresa.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Theresa practices at 380 South 4th Street in Boise, Idaho.
