Attorney Craig Kimmel of Ambler, PA; ethical misfit

The state of Pennsylvania presented Craig Thor Kimmel with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

Craig’s law firm operates a high volume practice in multiple states prosecuting motor vehicle warranty and “Lemon Law” civil claims.

Craig’s firm hired an attorney licensed in Maryland to establish and operate a satellite office in that state. The subordinate attorney neglected client matters leading to the dismissal with prejudice (claim gone forever) of 47 client cases.

Craig’s attorney assistant was subsequently disbarred by the Maryland Supreme Court.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Craig practices with Kimmel & Silverman, P.C. at 30 East Butler Avenue in Ambler, Pennsylvania.
