Attorney Mary Walker of DC; lying loser

The state of Massachusetts presented Mary Oates Walker with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Howard University Law School.

The Board of Ethics and Government Accountability charged Mary with the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was D.C.’s Chief Administrative Law Judge. Mary was charged with 19 counts of misconduct that included conflict of interest rules, using her public office for private gain and obstructing an official investigation.

As one would suspect, Mary denied all of the charges and laughingly claimed she was the victim of a group of subordinate administrative law judges who resented her efforts to reform the office and who have sought to discredit her on numerous occasions.

The other judges accused Queen Mary of an imperious style. Furthermore, a question arose about how a $43,000 moving contract was awarded to a company owned by the future husband of one of Mary’s top aides.

Mary also found it acceptable to lie to board investigators. Mary laughingly defended her lies by arguing that the questions posed to her were “vague and imprecise.”

As a consequence of her misconduct, Mary was removed from her position as an Administrative Judge.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Mary practices at 4520 17th Street NW in Washington, DC.
