Attorney Charles Mirarchi III of Philadelphia; convicted felon

The state of Pennsylvania presented Charles P. Mirarchi III with a law license in 1978.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has found Chuck guilty of the following misconduct.

Chuck was convicted of mail fraud. During the time of his misconduct, Chuck was employed by the City of Philadelphia as a deputy commissioner of elections.

Subsequently, Chuck entered a plea of guilty to participating in a scheme to defraud the City of Philadelphia by having Joseph F. Hoffman, Jr., an official of Philadelphia, dismiss over $47,000 of parking violations in exchange for payment of bribes and anticipated political favors.

After testifying on behalf of the U.S. Attorney, Chuck was sentenced to three years of probation, with home detention for six months and fined $5,000.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Chuck by gifting him with a complimentary 5-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Chuck practices at 1526 Wolf Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Warning: Chuck does not carry legal malpractice insurance
