Attorney Karen Muir of State College, PA; ethical misfit

The state of Pennsylvania provided Karen Gwyn Muir with a law license in 1990.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) has found Karen guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of funds owing to client
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Converted (stole) law firm funds

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Karen by gifting her with a complimentary 3-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Karen practices at 1315 West College Avenue in State College, Pennsylvania.
