The state of Missouri presented David Scott Schmidt with a law license in 1989.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
2. Engaged in a conflict of interest
3. Failed to provide competent representation (Moron)
4. Failed to safeguard client property
5. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 30-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Dave continues to practices in O’Fallon, Missouri.
