Attorney Rufus Tate of St. Louis, MO; ethical dwarf

The state of Missouri presented Rufus James Tate with a law license in 1995.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Rufus guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to deposit fees paid by client into trust account
  • Failed to maintain required interest bearing accounts for clients
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Rufus by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Rufus practices with the Tate Law Firm at 7751 Carondelet Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri.
