Judge Edwyn Hise of Alexander, NY; Judge Roy Bean Wannabee

FYI: Judge Roy Bean was an infamous Justice of the Peace and saloon owner in Texas who called himself the "The Law West of the Pecos." Roy was also affectionately referred to as the Hanging Judge.

The New York Commission on Judicial Conduct found Eddie guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting as a Justice of the Alexander Town Court, Genesee County, New York.

In one matter,Edwyn presided over a case wherein a defendant was charged and later convicted of a zoning violation.

When he appeared in court, the defendant pled not guilty to the zoning violation charge. Subsequently, Eddie found the defendant guilty despite his not guilty plea and did so without ever holding a trial in the matter. Eddie then found the defendant guilty, fined him $350 and sentenced him to 10 days in jail.

Eddie knowingly violated the defendants’ due process rights by denying him a trial and without providing him with counsel. Apparently, Eddie is of the opinion that “due” process is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the am.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Commission punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. April 2016) Eddie continues to sit as a Justice of the Alexander Town Court, Schoharie County in Alexander, New York.
