The state of Kansas presented Richard C. Comfort with a law license in 1981

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to respect the rights of third persons
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Dick’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined three (3) separate times for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Dick is employed with the Kansas Public Defenders at 234 North 7^th in Salina, Kansas.
