Attorney Jerald Barber of New Haven, CT; repeat offender

The state of Connecticut provided William Scott Barber with a law license in 1992

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Counseled or assisted client in conduct that was criminal or fraudulent
  2. Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to allow client to make informed decisions regarding Bill’s representation
  3. Falsified evidence or assisted witness to testify falsely
  4. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  5. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Billy’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) separate complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014) Billy practices with the Law Offices of Williams & Barber at 34 Wright Avenue in New Haven, Connecticut.
