Attorney Sheldon Rosenfeld of Highland Park, IL; cheating loser

The state of Illinois presented Sheldon S. Rosenfeld with a law license in 1959 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Sheldon guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sheldon agreed to assist a client in recovering certain property from a tax sale by purchasing it in his own name and then transferring title back to the client. After the client paid him to buy back the property, Sheldon refused to transfer title back to his client.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Sheldon by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (April 2016), Sheldon practices with Sheldon Rosenfeld and Associates at 1079 Deerfield Place in Highland Park, Illinois.
