Attorney Jane Brogan of York, NE; ethical misfit

The state of Nebraska presented Jane K. Brogan with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from the University of Nebraska Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Jane guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or knowingly assisted another in doing so
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Knowingly violated her oath of office as an attorney

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Nebraska Supreme Court punished Jane by gifting her with a complimentary 9-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2012) Jane practices with Brogan & Brogan at 205 East 8^th Street in York, Nebraska.
