Attorney Steve Heikens of Minneapolis; ethical dwarf

The state of Minnesota presented Steve G. Heikens with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Steve guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated (stole) client funds
• Failed to maintain proper trust account records
• Neglected client files
• Failed to communicate with clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Steve by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Steve practices at 10 South 5^th Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
