Attorney John Ganley of Minneapolis; ethical misfit

The state of Minnesota presented John Gregory Ganley with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the William Mitchell Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found John guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to deposit client funds into client trust account
  • Falsely notarized a court document
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), John practices at 2211 South 9th Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
