Attorney Harry Eliason of Papaikou, HI; ethical gremlin

The state of Hawaii presented Harry E. Eliason with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Harry guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to deposit unearned fees into client trust account
  2. Failed to maintain required client trust accounts
  3. Commingled client funds with personal funds
  4. Failed to provide client with refund of fees in timely manner
  5. Failed to maintain records of receipt and disbursement of client funds
  6. Failed to properly withdraw from representation of client (victim)
  7. Commit ted multiple offense

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Harry’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Harry by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Harry practices at 27-507 Alakahi Place in Papaikou, Hawaii.
