Attorney Steven Wong of Honolulu; repeat offender

The state of Hawaii presented Steven H.S. Wong with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Washington University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Steve guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Neglected client’s legal matter for 17 months
  2. Misconduct involved multiple violations of ethics rules
  3. Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  4. Failed to act with due diligence
  5. Misconduct resulted in financial damage to client’s estate

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Steve’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in the same type of misconduct aforementioned

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Steve by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2013), Steve practices at 920 Ward Avenue in Honolulu, Hawaii.
