Attorney Jeffrey Weishaupt of East Alton, IL; ethical dwarf

The state of Illinois presented Jeffrey Curtis Weishaupt with a law license in 1989. He also obtained a law license from Iowa in 1977.

The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to properly manage a probate matter on client’s behalf
2. Failed to file medical malpractice lawsuit on client’s behalf
3. Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
4. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
5. Gross negligence led to client’s lawsuit being barred by statute of limitations

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2014) Jeff practices at 82 East Airline Drive in East Alton, Illinois.
