Attorney Eric Romer of Chicago; ethical misfit

The state of Illinois presented Eric R. Romer with a law license in 1994. He also obtained a law license from Iowa in 1977.

The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.

While acting as an escrow agent in a real estate transaction, Eric failed to preserve the identity of $5,015 in funds.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014) Eric practices with the Law Offices of Eric R. Romer at 205 West Randolph Street in Chicago, Illinois.
