Attorney Bruce Ashley II of New Orleans; ethical gremlin

The state of Louisiana presented Bruce C. Ashley II with a law license in 1974

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client [victim]

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Bruce

As we speak (ca) February 2014) Bruce practices at 127 Camp Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
