Attorney Tony Mathis of Stone Mountain, GA; ethical dwarf

The state of Georgia presented Tony Eugene Mathis with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Indiana University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to communicate with client
2. Failed to file child support modification motion on client’s behalf
3. Faield to return client files to client after being fired
4. Failed to return unearned fees (crook)
5. Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
6. Failed to respond to notice of ethics investigation (Up Yours, said Tony!)

As a consequence of him misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Tony practices at with the Law Office of T.E. Mathis in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
