Attorney Robert Ortman of Canton, GA; convicted pugilist

The state of Georgia presented Robert Douglas Ortman with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Nova Southeastern University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Robert guilty of the following misconduct.

Despite pleading guilty to a felony battery, Bobby refused to acknowledge the wrongful nature of his conduct.

Bobby pleaded guilty to one felony count of aggravated battery in the Superior Court of Cobb County. He was sentenced under the First Offender Act to 12 months probation.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Robert by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Robert practices at 400 After Glow Summit in Canton, Georgia.
