Attorney Scott Huggins of Cumming, GA; ethical goblin

The state of Georgia presented Scott Chandler Huggins with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Mercer University Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Scott guilty of the following misconduct which involved five (5) client matters.

  1. Failed to adequately communicate with clients
  2. Faield to return a client’s file after being discharged
  3. Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  4. Failed to properly prepare for client’s trial
  5. Failed to preserve the appeal rights of a client
  6. Deposited client funds in account of a friend
  7. Failed to respond to ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Scotty!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Scott by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2014), Scott practices with the Law Office of Scott Chandler Huggins PC at 3865 Magnolia Walk Trail in Cumming, Georgia.
