Attorney Perry Mastromichalis of Raleigh; ethical misfit

The state of North Carolina presented Perry Mastromichalis with a law license in 1986

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar charged Perry with the following misconduct.
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to promptly inform client of status of legal matter
  • Failed to consult with client re: means by which client’s objectives are to be accomplished
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
In one matter, Perry found it acceptable to lie to state bar investigators. In truth, Perry told them ‘Up Yours!”.

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Perry by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2014) Perry practices at 100 East Six Forks Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.
