Attorney J. Rod Cameron of Pace, FL; serial offender

 

The state of Florida presented Jackie Rod Cameron with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from St. Thomas University Law School.

 

The Florida State Bar Grievance Committee found J. Rod guilty of the following misconduct.

 

J. Rod’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

Pleaded guilty to felony purchase of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. J. Rod was then sentenced to one year of probation and 100 hours of community service.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished J. Rod by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

 

J. Rod’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to maintain proper trust account records
  • Failed to comply with mandatory trust account rules
  • Failed to properly designate trust accounts
  • Failed to main cash receipt records
  • Failed to perform monthly bank reconciliations

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished J. Rod by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

 

J. Rod’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
  • Failed to expedite client’s litigation
  • Failed to file timely appeal on client’s behalf
  • Gross incompetence led to client’s right of appeal to be lost
  • Knowingly filed a frivolous appeal with appellate court

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished J. Rod by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. February 2014) J. Rod practices with J. Rod Cameron PL at 5089 Highway 90 in Pace, Florida.
