Attorney Joseph Murphy of Boston; repeat offender

The state of Massachusetts presented Joseph H. Murphy with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Suffolk University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Joey of the following misconduct.

Joey’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Joey!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

Prepared lawsuit on client’s behalf but failed to file it

• Failed to inform client re: outcome of negotiations with Dept. of Labor
• Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
• Rarely returned class from company president or its employees
• Subsequently the client fired Joey
• Upon firing Joey client requested an hourly accounting re: fees
• The client also demanded refund of retainer balance
• Failed to respond to client letter re: accounting of fees and refund of retainer

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2014) Joey practices with Target Logistics Management, LLC at 46 Birmingham Parkway in Boston, Massachusetts.
