The state of Massachusetts presented John Molloy with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the New England School of Law.
The Board of Bar Overseers found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct
- Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal
- Signed or directed someone to sign a client’s name to an affidavit
- Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
- Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
- Failed to explain matter to client to permit client to make informed decisions
- Failed to disclose fact necessary to correct misapprehension arising during ethics matter
- Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Failed to keep client reasonably informed about status of legal matter
- Made deceptive and misleading responses to ethics investigators
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. January 2014 Johnny practices with the Law Office of John M. Molloy at 99 Fourth Street in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
