► Univ. of Denver Law Professor Nancy Leong; Whining Dumbo |
Univ. of Denver Law Professor Nancy Leong; Whining Dumbo Nancy received her law license in 2006 after she graduated from Stanford University Law School with distinction.
Prior to jointing the faculty at the University of Denver, Nancy was an assistant Professor at the William & Mary Law School, an Adjunct Professor at American University in D.C., and visiting Scholar at Georgetown University Law Center. In addition, Nancy practiced First Amendment law with Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
Nancy is now employed as an assistant law professor at the University of Denver. She teaches Constitutional Law II and Constitutional Litigation.
In addition to teaching, Nancy runs a blog site called “Feminist Law Professors.” Nancy recently (Jan 2014) discovered the identity of an anonymous commentator who has, according to Nancy, left racist and sexist comments.” Nancy said that the commentator is a public defender in his late 40s and she wants him punished for his comments. (Jonathan Turley)
The commentator used “dybbuk” in his posts in reference to Nancy. In one of his posts, he talks about a 28-year-old old law grad and wrote:
The commentator also criticized Nancy’s presentation in Hawaii on “racial capitalism,” stating:
Nancy also found dozens of references about her on five websites that included disparaging her scholarship and describing her as “a comely young narcissist” and a “law professor hottie.”
Nancy is now demanding that the public defender that made the aforementioned comments be disciplined for engaging in unethical conduct.
Apparently, Nancy is unable to adequately appreciate and/or understand the actual meaning of the First Amendment and Free Speech. Just because Nancy doesn’t like the comments about her doesn’t constitute unethical conduct by the commentator.
It is laughable at best that Nancy actually is paid to teach constitutional law at the University of Denver when it is plainly clear she doesn’t have a clue as to what the First Amendment stands for.
