State Sen. Lee Bright (R-SC): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner
Lee is a 1988 grad-you-ate of Dorman High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
In November 2008, Lee duped the voters in the greater Spartanburg and Greenville areas to elect him as a member of the South Carolina State Senate.
In late 2013, Lee announced that he was running in the GOP primary in challenging Sen. Lindsey Graham for a seat in the U.S. Senate.
During a recent (01/14/14) appearance before a Tea Party group, Screwy Lee said that Congress should impeach federal judges who rule in favor of marriage equality in order to intimidate other judges into doing “the right thing.”
The Screwball went on to say:
Screwy Lee then went on a rant about gun control as follow:
Of course Lee’s rant that Israeli teachers were carrying machine guns on school playgrounds is a total fabrication. However, it likely played well among the low I.Q. folks that actually support this Lunatic.
Congrats Lee; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Understood “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
