The state of Florida presented Brian John Murtha with a law license in 1987.
 
The Florida State Bar Grievance Committee found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Failed to maintain required minimum trust account records
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Wrote check against account with insufficient funds (rubber)
  • Failed to conduct mandatory trust account procedures
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. January 2014) Brian practices with the Law Offices of Brian J. Murtha at 7640 North Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida.
