Attorney Derrick Cornejo of Denver; ethical gremlin

 
The state of Colorado presented Derrick Duane Cornejo with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.
 
Disciplinary Counsel found Derrick guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  2. Neglected to adequately communicate with clients (victims)
  3. Failed to provide clients with a written basis for his claimed fees
  4. Neglected to provide accounts upon client request
  5. Disobeyed judicial imposed obligations
  6. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Derrick by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.
 
As we speak, (ca. December 2013), Derrick practices with The Law Office of Derrick Cornejo, LLC at 3033 Blake Street in Denver, Colorado.
