The state of Florida presented Harold George Uhrig with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law College.
The Florida State Bar found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Harry created a second law firm, outside of his criminal law practice in order to assist his non-attorney son’s company. The son’s company assisted timeshare owners who felt they’d been scammed by timeshare resale companies and were seeking refunds.
Harry’s new firm provided letters to customers that Harry knew were misleading and improperly implied that the law firm was available to litigate against timeshare resale companies, if necessary.
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Harold by gifting him with a complimentary 6-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. January 2014) Harold practices with The Defense Group at 370 Lake Seminary Circle in Maitland, Florida.
