Attorney Charles Hutt of Atlanta; ethical leprechaun
The state of Florida provided Charles Matthew Hutt with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from the University of Miami Law School.
The Florida State Bar found Charles guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Charlie found it acceptable to sign the name of a consulting attorney on several affidavits that were submitted to a court for payment approval.
Unfortunately for Charlie, the judge recognized the signature as a forgery and brought the matter to the attention of the State Bar.
Because Attorney Misfits in Florida are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Charlie was never criminally charged for forgery.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. December 2013) Charlie practices at 1942 Lenox Road NE in Atlanta, Georgia.
