The state of Connecticut provided Philip Dale Russell with a law license in 1986
 
The Statewide Grievance Committee found Philip guilty of the following misconduct.
 
Philip’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
 
 
In one matter, Philip pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of Misprison of a Felony
 
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Philip by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
 
Philip’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
 
  • Failed to provide client with written fee agreement as required
  • Failed to adequately explain to client payment of his fees by his spouse via the use of the client’s credit card
  • Made various representations to client when he knew client was under the influence of alcohol
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Philip by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. December 2013) Philip practices at 66 Field Point Road in Greenwich, Connecticut.
