Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC)
Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

In November 2012, Tommy succeeded in duping the voters into electing him to the U.S. Congress. Tommy is yet another congressman that learned how to tell half-truths and/or outright lies while attending law school at the University of South Carolina.

In an ongoing effort to prove that he’s a Certified Screwball, Tommy recently sponsored a resolution in the House of Representatives that would direct the House “to bring a civil action for declaratory or injunctive relief to challenge certain policies and actions taken by the executive branch. Put simply, Tommy is intent on taking legal action against President Obama in a federal court for allegedly not faithfully executing the laws.

Screwy Tommy went on to say:
  • “President Obama has adopted a practice of picking and choosing which laws he wants to enforce. In most cases, his laws of choice conveniently coincide with his Administration’s political agenda.”
  • “President Obama has chosen to ignore some of the laws written by Congress and implemented by preceding Presidents.”
  • “This resolution allows the House of Representatives to bring legal action against the Executive Branch and challenge recent actions, inactions, and policies.”
Of course Tommy and his cadre of Screwballs in the House never sought relief from a court of law in regards to actions taken by George Bush or Ronald Reagan (selling arms to Iran).

Obviously, Tommy didn’t do well at Law School in regards to classes regarding “separation of powers.”

Congrats Tommy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Understood “Screwballs”; you are far too humble
