Justice Bill Anderson of Mississippi; Il Duce Wannabe, certified moron, scofflaw

Unfortunately, Justice Bill Anderson has been sitting on the bench in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi are for nineteen (19) years.

FYI: Il Duce is none other than Benito Mussolini, the celebrated pacifist and humantarian that partnered up with Adolph Hitler prior to and during World War II in an attempt to make this a better world for all of us, if ya know what I mean.

In the recent past The Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance found Justice Bill Anderson guilty of the following misconduct:
  • Failing to rule on cases
  • Refusing to timely rule on pending cases
  • Relying upon information from a litigant to issue an arrest warrant
  • Improperly (illegally) holding a defendant without bond
  • Acquiring information involving pending cases
  • Improperly reducing a defendant’s bond
  • Behaving with impropriety or creating the appearance of impropriety
Justice Bill Anderson’s Hyperbolic (BS) defenses

Justice Bill Anderson defended his egregious misconduct by stating: “I am not guilty of what I am charged with. The bottom line here is that I am being censured for doing my job. I did my job and I did it well.” (Tim Doherty - Hattiesburg-American – 12/04/09)

Isn’t that just special? According to this moron (my apologies to morons), depriving a litigant of his/her constitutionally protected due process rights was in accordance with “doing his job and doing it well.”

Justice Bill Anderson went on to spew forth the following BS, “My honesty has not been called into question. My integrity has not been called into question. I have done my job, and I’ve done my job lawfully and legally.”

Not only is Justice Bill Anderson a certified moron, he’s also a degenerate liar. To suggest that he acted ethically and within the law when he (a) unlawfully held a defendant without bond, (b) illegally reduced a defendant’s bond, and/or (c) took steps to personally acquire information (evidence) on pending cases is absurd. In fact, Justice Bill Anderson’s hyperbolic defense doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test.

One would have to possess an I.Q. equal to and/or lower than the legal speed in and around the Hawkins Elementary School on Forrest Street in Hattiesburg to buy into Justice Bill Anderson’s laughable defense.

It appears to me that Justice Bill Anderson missed his calling as a stand-up comedian.

Hopefully, the justices of the Mississippi Supreme Court will display a modicum of courage and will refuse to go along with the Judicial Commission’s recommendation that Justice Bill Anderson receive a complimentary censure and vote to remove him from the bench.

I’m not going to hold my breath in anticipation that the Mississippi Supreme Court will vote to oust Justice Bill Anderson given their rather sorry track record of acting as enablers and apologists for Judicial Misfits.
