Today’s “Bullshit” Award Winner
The state of South Carolina presented Harold W. “Trey” Gowdy III with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School. Since his graduation, Trey has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough (ca. 1994-2013).
In November 2010, Trey succeeded in duping the voters in the greater Greenville and Spartanburg areas to elect his as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
In an ongoing effort to further establish that he did well in law school in regards to spewing forth hyperbolic (BS) comments or outright lies, Trey decided it was time again to attack Obama and the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).
During a recent interview by comedian Megyn Kelly on the Fox News Comedy Network, commented about President Obama’s 2010 Nobel Peace Prize by asserting that Obama deserved another award.
The Bullshiter then said:
“The president already has a Nobel prize for peace. I think he’s shooting for one in fiction.”
In truth, if there was a Nobel Prize for Fiction, one or more of Trey’s mentors such as Ann “The Man” Coulter, Rush “The Doper” Limbaugh and/or Sean “The Loon” Hannity would clearly win or at a minimum receive Honorable Mention Awards.
Congrats Trey; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bullshitters”; you are far too humble.
