Attorney John Widule of Elm Grove, WI; certified Dumbo

The state of Wisconsin presented John C. Widule with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Marquette University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
  

In one matter, a Circuit Court judge found that Johnny had knowingly advanced a factual position without a basis for doing so that was frivolous. Johnny also found it acceptable to argue a position that favored one client at the expense of another.

Johnny’s incompetent representation involved his failure to research legal issues such as “accord and satisfaction,” “waiver,” and “estoppel,” before commencing a lawsuit that ultimately was found to be frivolous.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme
Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2013) Johnny practices in the Elm Grove, Wisconsin area.
