Attorney Don Slayton of Woodland Hills, CA; ethical leprechaun

The state of California provided Don Lee Slayton with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Mid-Valley Law School in San Diego, which is a fourth tier, unaccredited school dedicated to accepting losers that could get into mainstream schools like UCLA, Pepperdine or UC Davis.

The California State Bar Court found Don guilty of the following misconduct. Reinstated 3/09

In one matter, Don improperly entered into a business agreement with a non-lawyer, allowing him to use his office to acquire clients under the guise of offering legal services. Don also illegally shared legal fees with a non-lawyer.

In another matter, Donny failed to keep a client reasonably informed of developments in his bankruptcy case.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Donny by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license. Donny was also ordered to repay a client $5,000 in fees given to him to handle a loan modification matter.

As we speak (ca. January 2014), Don practices at 5859 Canoga Avenue in Woodland Hills, Calfiornia, which is located in Los Angeles County.
