The state of Maryland presented Laurence Fleming Johnson with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School. . Laurence was presented with a license to practice in Washington, D.C. in 1977.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Yale guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Yale engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice when, acting as attorney for the plaintiff, he left voice messages for the defendant that insulted his heritage in a mock accent and uttered other inappropriate remarks.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Yale by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
