Attorney Joseph Morris of Chicago; ethical misfit

The state of Illinois presented Joseph Allan Morris with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Chicago Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Joe guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joey found it acceptable to neglect a deportation matter that was lodged against a mentally ill client (victim) that he allegedly represented.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Joe by gifting him with a complimentary stayed censure.

As we speak (ca. October 2013) Joey practices with Morris & De La Rosa at 6171 North Sheridan Road in Chicago, Illinois.

Warning: Joey does not carry legal malpractice insurance
