Attorney Anthony Albergo of Chicago; thieving liar

The state of Illinois presented Anthony F. Albergo with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Lewis University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Anthony guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Tony found it acceptable to convert $50,000 in regards to his representation of a client (victim) in a criminal case.

Tony also failed to take prompt legal action of behalf of his client. Making matters worse. Tony made misrepresentations (lied) to the client, and misappropriated (stole) filing costs in an expungement matter.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Anthony by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2013) Anthony practices at 6935 West Armitage in Chicago, Illinois.

Warning: Anthony does not carry legal malpractice insurance
