Attorney Maximillion Van Orden of Baltimore; ethical dwarf

The state of Maryland presented Maximillion Francois Van Orden with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Max guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Max found it acceptable to file a civil action on behalf of and without the required authorization of the Personal Representative and/or the Estate of his deceased client.

Max also failed to provide diligent representation in regards to the Estate matter.

As one would suspect, Max’s law firm, LeViness Tolsman & Hamilton PA, makes no mention of the aforementioned misconduct on its website at www.lthlaw.com.   Apparently, the LeViness firm decided to conceal t his relevant information so as to not limit its future victim  pool.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Max by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2013), Max practices with LeViness Tolsman & Hamilton PA at 923 North Calvert Street in Baltimore, Maryland.
