Attorney Lowell Gordon of Rockville, MD; Dufus

The state of Maryland presented Lowell J. Gordon with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School. Lowell also received a law license from the District of Columbia in 1972.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Lowell on guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to adequately communicate with client (victim)
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

In one matter, Lowell the Dufus failed to file a legal claim on his client’s behalf prior to the expiration of the statute of limitations. Therefore, his client was forever barred from prosecuting his claim.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Lowell by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2013), Lowell practices at 17 West Jefferson Street in Rockville, Maryland.
