Rev. E.W. Jackson: Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rev. E.W. Jackson

Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to the Right Rev. Jackson. In the past he has received three (3) Lunatic Awards, which can be viewed by going to Award Winners.

For some unknown reason, GOP voters in Virginia actually nominated this Certified Lunatic to be their candidate for Lieutenant Governor.

To assure that he doesn’t lose his esteemed status as one of America’s Premier Nutcases and Overt Bigots, The Rev decided to criticize Pope Francis’ recent statements regarding the Church’s obsession with gay marriage. Pope Francis’ statement was in part:

  • “We have to find a new balance; otherwise even the moral edifice of the church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the Gospel.”

The Rev’s response to Pope Francis was:

  • “I know even the pope has said when we talk about these things, we imply a kind of intolerance. That is not the point at all.”
  • “The point is to be true to the word of God.”
  • “The point is to stand up and tell the truth.”

For this Certified Bigot to suggest that the Pope doesn’t know what he’s talking about in going after the gay community is facially absurd.

Lastly, E.W. has absolutely no clue as to what the term “intolerance” means and/or implies.

Congrats Rev.; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too humble.
