The Statewide Grievance Committee found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to provide client with status of legal matter
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Bruce!)
  

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

In one matter, Bruce was hired to represent a client in regards to her personal injury action. Bruce failed to file suit on her behalf before the statute of limitations had expired.

Subsequently, the client sued Bruce for legal malpractice. Bruce never appeared to defend the lawsuit, which led the Superior Court to grant a default judgment against him the amount of $25,000. However, Bruce has never paid anything on the judgment.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2013) Bruce practices at 19 Helen Road in Branford, Connecticut.
