Attorney R. Lee McFadden III of Phoenix; ethical leprechaun

The state of Arizona presented R. Lee McFadden III with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Lee guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to consult with client to afford client to make informed decisions re: representation
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Failed to communicate with clients
  4. Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interest after being discharged
  5. Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  6. Failed to cooperate with State Bar investigators (Up Yours, said R. Lee!)
  7. Failed to return unearned fees (cheater)
  8. Failed to return client files to clients after being discharged
  9. Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interests after being discharged
  10. Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Lee by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2013) Lee practices at 3350 North Central in Phoenix, Arizona.

Warning: McFadden doesn’t carry legal malpractice insurance
