Attorney Katherine Townley of Red Bluff, CA; ethical misfit

The state of California provided Katherine Melissa Townley with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from the California Northern Law School located in Chico, California.

The California State Bar Court found Gretchen guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Displayed indifference regarding misconduct
  2. Misconduct involved multiple acts
  3. Misconduct significantly harmed client, public or the administration of justice
  4. Failed to cooperate with disciplinary agency (Up Yours, said Katherine)
  5. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  6. Refused or was unable to account for client funds

As a consequence of her misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Katherine by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the California State Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Katherine.

As we speak (ca. September 2013), Katherine practices at 756 Rio Street in Red Bluff, California, which is located in Tehama County.
