Attorney Robert Nelson Jr. of Boston; ethical gremlin

The state of Massachusetts presented Robert William Nelson Jr. with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Suffolk University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was prosecuting a murder case as an assistant Commonwealth district attorney.

• Improperly vouched for credibility of two witnesses to the jury
• Improperly told jury they should avenge the victims
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Misconduct led to defendant’s conviction being overturned
• Claimed personal knowledge of facts during trial

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Bobby practices with the Law Office of William Nelson Jr. at One International Place in Boston, Massachusetts.
